“Train up a child in the way he should go, and
when he is old he will not turn from it.”
Proverbs 22:6
Discipline:
The Christian concept of discipline involves disciplining- the process
of helping one to adopt values that are internalized so that character
is shaped rather than behavior merely controlled. Christian discipline
is the process of bringing one to maturity in Christ so that the qualities
of “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control” (Gal. 5:22,23) are increasingly
evident in daily living. We talk with the child about his/her choice
and how the wrong choice has consequences.
In the classroom setting, it is essential for outward behavior to
be under control. Therefore, policies and procedures must be put in
a place to create an environment for learning. One must understand,
however, that outward behavior is an indication of what is in the
heart (Matt. 15:17) and that WWCA has to deal with the outward behavior
of the student, its essential to realize that changing outward behavior
is only temporary and that true change in a student begins with the
changing of his or her heart. This can only be done through the power
of God’s Word, the Holy Spirit, and prayer. It is the responsibility
of the parent to teach the principals of God’s Word and pray
for their children. Once again, WWCA is here to assist the family;
however, WWCA must implement its guidelines to insure the best possible
learning environment for its students. We are committed to do everything
humanly possible to help parents in the great responsibility and opportunity
of rearing children in a Biblical way.

grace and love. The following will be considered by the administration
in making this decision.
- Written appeal for re-admittance
- Noticeable change in behavior by faculty.
- Interview
- Meeting of all parents to vote on appeal.
- Presentation to the boards.
- Faculty approval (At least half of the student’s teachers
must approve)
In the event that a student is expelled from WWCA or
is withdrawn from WWCA to avoid expulsion, he may apply for the following
school year enrollment, the student must follow the procedures for
the enrollment that are listed previously in the handbook, and provide
the following information:
1. A written explanation, from the student, stating why he/she should
be considered and
2. A letter of recommendation from the student’s pastor or youth
pastor.
However, please note that this does not guarantee the student’s
enrollment at WWCA.
