Photography Club

Welcome to photography club! This club has been created to help students learn the art of photography while developing their own personal style. Throughout the year students will have various assignments to demonstrate their understanding of the various concepts of photography. They will also use their photographs in various forms of fundraising for the school.

Projects:

Pinhole camera- each student will make their own pinhole camera and help develop their prints.

Yearbook: Being a part of the yearbook committee takes a great deal of commitment, organization, and attention to detail. It is an opportunity to learn more about design, photography, and book production.

School Newspaper: photographs will be needed throughout the year for the school paper

Fundraising w/ photos: 2008 Calendar (featuring student photos), Greeting cards

· If you are using a digital camera, when you have finished taking all photos, submit the CD rom disk that has your original image files to the teacher so that she can transfer them to your folder. (All media cards and/or CD rom disks will be returned to the student after the files have been transferred.)
